Why Beyond the Bucket?

The bucket is the system that says learning must stay predictable.

It is the worksheet completed without curiosity. The correct answer offered without conversation. The classroom routine followed simply because it has always been followed.

Beyond the Bucket is the moment a learner reaches past those limits. Curiosity becomes attention. Attention becomes choice. Choice becomes communication.

Meet the teacher

Teacher Bruce Turriff

I’m a Canadian educator based in Thailand with more than a decade of classroom experience—from elementary learners to university students, online classes and large extracurricular programs.

Before teaching, I worked in sales and business in Canada. That background still shapes my classroom: clear communication, active participation and ideas worth talking about.
